The Position: Cyber Security Specialist

Employment Status: Full-time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 80

Essential Job Functions:

• Monitor and analyze security events using the SIEM system, responding promptly to potential security incidents.
• Identify, assess, and patch vulnerabilities in the information systems and applications.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of cyber security policies, procedures, and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Certifications and Licenses:

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA Security+ are preferred

Position Summary:

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join our I CARE team in the Cyber Security setting. Essential duties of the position include monitoring and analyzing security events using the SIEM system, identifying and patching vulnerabilities, and assisting in the development and implementation of cyber security policies and procedures.
