The Position: Flight RN/Medic or Flight Nurse

Employment Status: Per Diem

Hours per two-week pay-period: As applicable to the opening available

Essential Job Functions:

  • The ability to think critically.
  • Function in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Provide emergent medical transportation services in an air medical environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in critical care or emergency setting
  • Previous air medical/transport experience preferred.
  • Working experience with the application and management of critical care interventions (i.e., IPPV, NIPPV, Intubation, etc.)
  • Working experience with vasoactive and sedation/pain management medications.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • RN or Paramedic licensure in ND + MT
  • NREMT Paramedic Certification (for Paramedics)
  • ACLS, PALS, and BLS (Instructor Certifications preferred)
  • TNCC, TPATC, TNATC, ATLS/ATCN, or other CAMTS Approved Advanced Trauma Course
  • CFRN, FP-C, CCEMT-P, or other CAMTS Approved Advanced Certification (within 24 months of hire)
  • NRP (within 6 months of hire)
  • Valid Driver’s License with Acceptable Driving Record

Position Summary:

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Flight RN/Medic, or Flight Paramedic to join our I CARE team in the Care Flight Operations setting. Essential duties of the position include the ability to think critically and function in a fast-paced team-oriented environment while providing emergent medical transportation services in an air medical environment.
